I had one of the most awesomely freaking awesome times in Malacca last weekend with my CPU classmates and course mates. SOO FREAKING AWESOME MAN!!
Thebitch almost spoilt my day before it even began. =_='. Anyways, when we checked into our apartment, the apartment was cleaned yet and like it was really disgusting. So we dumped our bags on the sofa, changed and went for lunch. After lunch we walked to A Famosa.
Oh yeah, just for you info, we stayed in the Makhota Hotel which is really far from town. It was some where near the beach so yeah Google Map it if you really wanna know. XD.
As soon as we walked out, it started drizzling. =_=. We pushed on and walked all the way to Mahkota Parade in the rain, and walked through Makhota Parade and stopped at the fountain that has a story as you go around it. Took some pictures there and continued to A Famosa where the rain started to drizzle a little harder.
Took some pictures at the Fort then went up and took some more there. And there thebitch ALMOST spoilt my mood AGAIN! After that came down and took some pictures again and realized a little too late that the everyone was taking a group picture. =( .
After that we walked to the Tortura 2 exhibition. The exhibition is about the torture instruments used in the medieval times. There were some quite gruesome things man. erghh. But very informative. We even asked each other, if we could and had to choose to the instruments that we're gonna be tortured with, which would we choose. =P.
After that Hui Jiun, Leng Hue, Natasha and I took the trishaw to Christ Church Melaka so we could walk to Jonker Street and when we reached there, the whole group was there and thus more pictures were taken. =P.
We followed them to the Menara Taming Seri after we made a pit stop a stall to wait for Adrianna to buy new slippers (what happened was she was crossing the road then suddenly her slipper snapped, so she walked barefooted until we found a shop selling slippers). By the time we went to the Menara thingy, the rest already sat for it and came down. So the 6 of us went on our own. It was an awesome view from the top. Honestly, it was slightly scary at first (due to my traumatic experience from the Space Shot in Genting. =S) The rest waited for us till we were done and some of them decided to go back to the hotel or to Makhota Parade.
We awesome foursome decided to kill our legs by walking back to Jonker Street. or something like that. We backtracked so much I forgot which time was when. XD
On the way there, we stopped by "The Ship" where we took some more pictures. Hehehe. Walked around the ship, making jokes, taking pictures then went on to the pier and took some more pictures there and walked to Jonker Street after.
Jonker Street was suppperly crowded. But I managed to get some awesome stuff. =D. We ate our dinner at the Famosa Chicken Rice Ball Restaurant. Walked some more till about 10.30? and by that time our legs were literally screaming for mercy. Whenever possible, we sat on anything we could sit on. So as I've said before, our hotel is really far from town and we couldn't even bare contemplating whether to walk back to our hotels so what did we do? we took the trishaw. =P. Not bad for RM10 per person.
He (the trishaw man) took us all the way from Jonker Street to our hotel, in style. As we were going back to the hotel, there were fireworks (for some event that was happening). A very awesome view. It wasn't those usual fireworks, these were really BIG ones.
When we reach the hotel, and were walking back to our apartment (which was like at right at the end of the hotel) Hui Jiun & Nat were the first to go all bezerk and hyper. They were running and jumping in the hallways and laughing away. The next to join them was Leng Hue before I got sucked into it too. XD. After our baths, we just hung around the apartment talking on our handphones to various people while Leng Hue fell alseep on the sofa. XD. I promised her I won't post the picture. But trust me its funny. =P.
I had to return my friend's PSP to him so we all went down to the lobby and hung around there until we all agreed that we were hungry and wanted a Maggi Cup. So we went to a club near our hotel where they had some food and bought it there. Saw some really drunk people doing really funny stuff. Anyways, took our Maggi back to the lobby to eat and sat there just hanging around with Syed and Farid. After that we went to sleep.
Started our day with breakfast and went back to the apartment to hang around and pack. After packing, we took some chairs and hung out at the balcony. It was just awesome. Awesome doesn't even cover it. The view was breathtaking, the warm breeze and the awesome people I enjoyed it with made it so indescribable.
We hung out there till it was time to go and that was pretty much the trip.
All in all, a very awesome trip!!! =D
We would definitely wanna go there again and are planning to go some where during the June holidays. Can't wait for that trip.
okay. I have to go already. Have to study for a Data quiz I have after this. =S. I actually dunno why I'm still blogging when I have to study. XD.
*EDIT : The quiz was relatively hard. X_X. I hope I don't score badly.*
